1.    Short term investment: -
“investment which is a definition that period of time is less than one year or we can say that few month investment.”

For those people who need a high yield in a short period of time, long term investments are definitely very risky. In short term investment, we can consider IPO, FPO, commodity market, equity. we can use this strategy return require in short period of time.

The risks factor of these type of investment is higher than long term because of a sudden change in market or value of a currency. You know the precision timing of selling your stock. But the high rate of return on all investment. While there is good chance that you will make money with a short-term investment.

2.    Long term investment: -
“we can define that investment which is one year or more than a year these several years financial planning call long term investment.”

This term is just opposite term short term investment the slow but steady pace of long term investment allows for a much greater degree of stability. Like FD, RD, SIP, ext. it is used when we need future return after a couple of years.

The risk of your capital is low compared to short term but a rise in the value of money is very low. They are also ideal for making your saving for retirement fund grow. You must be facing some penalties if your withdrawal your money early.
Select which one is more beneficial for you because ultimately our goal is to make a profit.
